Follow Carmi road to the end where it turns to a dirt road.....Pick a spur road and follow it till you find one you like. If you have a 4x4 you can access some sweet look outs off of the spur roads. Or, stay at the camp ground by the lake.
When in doubt....run it out!!!!

Stay is a house with your friends who live in Penticton. :D
Camping in Penticton is so ghetto.

Go climbing in Kelowna instead. Free camping right at the boulderfields. Shorter approachs. Free camping just up the road from Cedar Park. No people.

We stopped at Banbury Green. Nice place but $30 + GST for a piece of dirt to put your tent on was a bit rich for our blood.
